At Lumos Bytes Limited, we aim to provide high-quality web development and digital services. If you’re not satisfied, we’ll do our best to resolve the issue fairly.

When Refunds Apply

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • We fail to deliver the agreed service.
  • There is a billing error (e.g., duplicate payment).
  • You cancel within the legal 14-day cooling-off period (for consumer purchases made online), provided work hasn’t started or you agreed to start early.

When Refunds Do NOT Apply

  • Work already completed or accepted.
  • Custom development or design once started.
  • Third-party costs (domains, hosting, plugins) already purchased.

How to Request a Refund

Email refunds@lumosbytes.co.uk with:

  • Your name or company name
  • Invoice number
  • Reason for the refund

We’ll review your request within 5–10 business days and process approved refunds within 14 days to your original payment method.

Cancellations

  • Before work starts: Full refund minus any non-recoverable costs.
  • After work starts: You’ll pay for work completed and any third-party costs. Remaining balance may be refunded or credited.
